I don't even know why I just realized that, lol. But I saw her shoes in the pic and I had just seen the pic of SA in the heels in the SA/EBR thread and so it clicked and I was like oh that's cool!

Heels and dresses are kind of her thing though. And Emily pulls them off amazingly! Though I loved the little jeans outfits she wore a few times in season 4. She should wear jeans more. Though I think they still put her in heels even in jeans most times, lol. She's tiny. Especially next to SA, so they probably think she needs the extra height.

Standing on a box would just be awkward, plus she never really just stands still directly in front of him or something like that. Standing on boxes is for like taking pictures, not filming an action show. And it's not that big of deal that they need to go that route. Heels are way more practical because they move with her. He does bend down though but they probably don't want him towering over her and stuff. Plus they probably think the heels are cute on her, which they are. Also she was a CEO (and will be again) so she had to dress kind of business like a lot. I think Emily can where flat shoes when her feet her are hidden under a desk or something but if they could be seen they give her heels. Felicity loves her heels. I bet she feels kind off powerful in them. They make her taller and she could injure someone with them if she need to and they probably make her fell confident too. But it would hurt to wear heels that much. Ouch. Probably would make more sense for her to wear shoes that are easier to run in like Donna discovered in 4x17 but doesn't seem like she wants to, lol. It's impressive that she actually manages to run and sort of fight and get crap done in heels. I can barely walk in them, lol.
