Okay, I could go on for days about this episode. After re-watching their scenes I do sense the subtle jealousy/protectiveness over her. It can't be blatant because it would be out of nowhere. His feelings for Felicity haven't been established yet. I see Oliver inviting Barry to the party as a peace offering because she was angry with him. After his "better to not be with someone I could really care about speech," whether it was meant to be directed towards her or not, he has shut himself off to the idea of a normal relationship, but he genuinely cares about Felicity and wants to see her happy. I think it's his way trying to be a "friend" and shrug off any romantic feelings that are beginning to rise to the surface.
And did anyone else think it was awfully funny that Oliver acts all macho about his wounds most of the time (even stitching up his own ankle not to long ago) yet he completely overreacts when Felicity is helping bandage him up  __________________

IA with the others that I saw the subtle signs of jealousy. I think this way was much better than the "in your face jealousy" imo.
I cracked up at the scene of Felicity giving Oliver the "I'm angry" look as she was walking to stand beside him and he knew she was angry which is why he asked if she would like to dance and her response. lol and really Felicity, 'I don't like Oliver" Not very convincing. lol It's good to know that outsiders like Barry even wondered if Oliver and Felicity were together. lol It wasn't much but I liked the Olicty moments. I'm sure the next episode, it will be better. Oh and welcome to those who joined the thread  |

^ See I thought that was sweet of him. He knew he upset her and wanted to make it up to her. Barry makes her happy and that's what he wants for her. At least until he gets his issues together, which might take some time since a lot happened to him on that island.
I do wish he'd talk to both Dig and Felicity about it more so he could heal. |
