eh i agree not much in the way of jealousy but he was acting a bit overbearing, being assertive with felicity and keeping barry in professional sphere and checking up on barry

no matter how you spin it if oliver wasnt getting a vibe that they were getting a bit too chummy to his liking and we just recently saw how protective he is of her ( FWI 3 arrows)
he wouldn't have checked up on barry or given him a 2nd look , its not like he goes around checking up the entire police squad/everyone who interacts with her and to boot he flagged him at the bar

(ooh as i'm rewatching the episode scene where oliver says to shado since when did the two of you become so chummy //parralel people its subtle enough it took me a 2nd viewing to catch on ha ha)

its some subtle shizz going on , diggle seemingly innocuous remarks about felicity and something i've noticed when having to speak about felicity he can be seemingly indifferent like he doesnt want to talk about her in that light or even acknowledge it so he doesnt answer and goes straight back on to business , mostly at first when felicity would say something facepalm worthy but he's since warmed up to her tic and smiles more often when she does it , happened with isabelle when she said she thought olicity was a thing

just remember oliver himself self said he can't be with someone he could really care about so he would do even more now to not let on how close him and felicity are, that was a good staring going on near the end when she told him about arrow and killer's muscle density

felicity had me saying her name quite a few times damn that actress is really good she was giving off a good overfriendly vibe with barry /geeky attraction

i have to say barry look less like a kid than i thought , there's potential there depending on angle but emphatically NO he is NO MATCH for oliver when they're in same scene oliver screams REAL MAN with a seasoned beard who's seen a lot as oppose to geeky barry who's got smarts on his side and hipster thing going on
i'm def interested in his backstory

just remember ladies slow burn lets wait and see 2nd part but since its a slow burn that means slow development not obvious at first but there subtle enough in hindsight come season finale
so yeah if writer said season 3 maybe i dont know that we should expect blatant jealously but i'm pretty sure come seaosn finale oliver won't be able to not make the parallel himself

After last night's episode...



It was awesome!

Oliver was SO on it right off the bat. I was like I am mean seriously! He was very like overbearing, a lot of touching! Especially when he pulled her over to the side when Barry shows up at the office.

And he SOOO could have discussed the Barry lying issue in private but he just jumps in mid conversation..and ended up making Barry look better, I loved his response, 'he still lied'

But Felicity saying no to dancing with him, even though he was asking for Barry, but she didn't know yet. I was like 'come on girl!'

She looked stunning btw! Wish she could have worn the dress longer!

I really enjoyed the episode! I agree with all of you, Oliver was protective and overbearing. But we are yet to see full on jealous. But I was more than amused. Also when she was patching him up and he was all 'owww!' It was just funny

I didn't think Oliver was directly jealous. But he definitely noticed how different Felicity acted with Barry around and as I said on the episode comment, he is still unaware of how his feelings are changing. Which is good, we can't have things happen suddenly.

Felicity does like Oliver on the other hand ehehe. I felt sheinvited Barry to the party as proof of her non-interest. "I don't like him, in facts I'm going to invite YOU". Said that it's not that she doesn't like Barry, she and him are on the same tune, but the chemistry? High school best buddies kind.

Me thinks in the next episode we're going to see some fall out between them, perhaps because Felicity revealed to Barry who is the vigilante.

I agree. It wasnt directly, the right word I would use to describe it is possessive I think. And of course I want ALL things Olicity, but i understand why it's not the time yet for full blown jealousy at their stage in the relationship. He's still figuring out how he feels, this is the beginning. So being possessive and protective is the right emotion. And I like how Felicity is handling it. She's doing her own thing but do obviously is there for Oliver when she needs him

I can't decide on the level of jealousy which Oliver displayed in the episode. On the one hand, I feel that maybe Stephen is playing Oliver as such a subtle character, that outright jealousy might not be how Oliver would handle the situation anyway.

I agree with the theory of some sort of fallout next episode. I just hope that Oliver isn't too harsh and doesn't indirectly suggest that she leave the team.

There was some jealousy there, but Oliver was mostly protective and overbearing. I think that's perfect because he can't suddenly go full on jealous. The writers are doing an excellent job so far. I'm reallly looking forward to the next few eps. The break is going to KILL me though.

Oliver's subtle jealousy is awesome.
I pretty much like how he was not full out jealous to the point where he outwardly shows it but still visible to the audience
Well it is called slowburn for a reason, I have to agree that I like how the writers still give us tender moments between the two

I will forever ship oliver and felicity but i got to admit that barry and felicity are kind of cute together.... in addition I like the background music playing during most of barry's scenes
