Well with Colton, first he tweeted something about an emotional scene he shot so that was of course suspicious but then filming was continuing on past 3x19 obviously but Colton was tweeting from everywhere but Vancouver. And MG teased the "death" and SA had that tweet about filming goodbyes bringing up real emotions so at least in hindsight it was pretty clear he was leaving, I never believed they were killing him though.

Problem with this one is there will be quite a few episodes after left to film, and this fandom notices everything. How do they make sure someone's absence from set isn't noticeable?

Stephen Amell and Emily Bett Rickards have proven themselves tremendously over the four seasons of Arrow. The duo both started out as relatively unknown actors, but now have transformed themselves and their characters into one of the most talked about couples on TV today
The mark of a great acting pair is when one actor can deliver lines that pack a punch while the other simply listens and reacts. This is what happens every single time Amell and Rickards act opposite each other.
Finally, I have witnessed other TV couples who have chemistry, but the acting between the two is still noticeable. It isn’t natural or organic; there is a small rigidity to it. As a viewer, I forget that these are two actors, I actually feel like I am watching a couple in a real time relationship blending into one another. It is the reason I have an irrational pull to this couple.

Stephen and I love working together. There’s no other way to put it. We love the scenes that are Felicity and Oliver. They’re fun, they’re creative. Their dialogue is locked and loaded. They understand each other. We get to play around because we’ve known each other now for four years as people, let alone characters, which is really fun. I love working with Stephen. I wonder why they weren't bothered that Colton made it pretty obvious he wasn't on set when he should've been if he hadn't been written out. Seems like they will need this person to do better than Colton did about keeping their absence from set secret.

I think because this situation is completely different in that they have teased this big death coming up all season. They are going to do everything in their power to keep it hush hush. Kate I find what you said about maybe doing flashback episodes with that character to keep them onset longer very interesting?

Yeah it was. I didn't want to admit it because I didn't want him to leave but the signs were definitely there. I was right though they weren't killing him. I knew they liked Roy/Colton too much for that.

Yeah maybe doing flashbacks to keep them onset could be a good option for them. I wonder if they will try to keep any guest stars related to the death secret, like. Caity Lotz. If she comes back and we know she's on set it would really look like it was because a family member died. So I wonder if they will try to keep that stuff under wraps. It is possible they can do that. I don't think anyone knew Eugene was on set when he was filming Andy's big alive reveal. They'll really need to do that again with anyone they bring in for like the funeral and stuff.

So I am wondering and maybe you guys can answer? Do you feel that the main cast (other then PB) have posted a lot less pics,tweets,etc. from set this season or is it about the same as every other season? I mean I would understand if it is less because they do have to make sure it's not so obvious when the person who gets killed off all of a sudden stops posting. I'm just curious because I follow a lot of people from other shows I watch and they post set pics all the time but the Arrow cast hardly every posts?
