Honestly it took me a long time to like Jackson in TW. But I think Roy's attitude is a tad bit similar to Jackson. They seem to have the same arrogance.

see, I always liked Jackson. I love characters like that when the actor is actually pretty decent at pulling them off...but at the same time they aren't so over the top with their actions that makes it hard to like them (cough Damon, etc)

we shall see where the character goes from here.

He does, but he can also play the "sympathetic card" for instance in the interrogation room. Get all teary eyed, when he was talking about his mother being on vertigo (which may or may not be the truth)

agree, I kind of wonder about the mother thing. It seems likely but is she still alive or do they live together, etc... so many questions about that right now

Honestly I'm not the biggest Damon fan.

I think for a lot of series S1 is usually better, than the remaining seasons. There is only a few circumstances I enjoyed later seasons more than S1.

He could have also been lying to Quentin, to try and get Thea to lift the charges that were placed on him. But I think we will know more on whether or not he is telling the truth when he returns.

I liked Colton's performance more than the writing for the character, but grown to like him, it was so frustrating sometimes the way he was written. True, there are similarities in attitude between the two characters, but hope its more toned down here, and he grows a lot more than Jackson did.

PS: Grown to be Stefan-friendly, like the character growth. No opinion one way or the other, on the other brother Damon.

Really cute summer show , its a fun watch, def worth a try imo. I watched a few episodes too when it first debuted, thought the CGI generated wolves were cheesy etc and stopped watching, got past that, tried again watching the full seasons and liked it.
You will run into Sterek

agree s1>>>s2, but still a thrill too.
