6x10- episode discussion

Despite losing half his team, Oliver (Stephen Amell) remains confident that he, Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) and Diggle (David Ramsey) can stop Cayden James (guest star Michael Emerson) and Black Siren (Katie Cassidy). However, when he discovers one of Cayden’s secrets, he decides to team up with an unlikely ally. Meanwhile, Dinah (Juliana Harkavy) spends time with Vince (guest star Johann Urb).

Yes it aired today. I just realized I put 17th instead of 18th on airfare. Whoops.

I haven’t watched yet. I’m gonna watch it here in an hour.

Primal Slayer

As with majority of this show, it had the makings of a good episode but then they never really used anything to its fullest potential.

The team finding out about Cayden less then an episode after it is revealed he's been keeping tabs on him was a little weak imo. This should've been drawn out for at least 1 episode before TA found out.

I know they are trying to play Laurel/Black Siren fans into thinking there is a chance of redemption but I got this shows number and I am not falling for it. They've barely put any work into it to make me think that they will really go there. Between Thea/Quentin's first convo and Thea/Quentin's last convo, there should've been an altercation between the three that changed Thea's mind and helped keep the hope in Quentin's heart.

Vigilante on the other hand...they are totally setting him up for a redemption. He is going to doublecross Cayden and probably end up dying to save Dinah by the end of the season. But he is getting more to do and to further that plot then Laurel/Quentin are with theirs.

Oliver just keeps getting into fights with the group of baddies and flys away into the night, it was a bit funny. It was annoying that we spent all this time between Cayden obtaining a T-Sphere and him actually using it and Oliver is able to break them within SECONDS. But then Diggle/Felicity get to play a video game where they play as T-Spheres attacking the bad guys. They used it more efficiently then Curtis has since the first episode.

If you are going to break the team into 2 then at least show Oliver struggling being alone in the field but they did the exact opposite. Sure he had to run both times but he was doing fine.

And oh look! the trailer for next week as the city in danger.again. At least this episode we had a Bertinelli in danger and a turf war.

Wonderful episode. Great seeing Thea again. Oliver has Diggle, Felicity, and Thea. The rest of them he does not need. I agree with Oliver, you can't have anyone around you you can't trust.

But that fight he had was incredible. Great moves, he solved fast against several men. And I liked to see that Felicity found a good way of how to use the T-spheres. It was a good idea, but Curtis had to be in the field so he couldn't do the same that Diggle was doing.

Good episode, not awesome, I think there was something missing there. Perhaps it was weird to see Oliver alone in the field again. It looks like he cannot do it like in the old times not when there are several enemies against him

I enjoyed this episode. However, i am baffled by newbies anger of sorts. They were spied on. Yes.. It's not like it wasn't a legitimate reason. A team member betrayed them and it wasn't the first time. Can that not remember how it felt when Evelyn did it.

While Rene can be a jerk he's the only person that kind of makes since to me. He did what he did for his daughter. Dinahs only made becuse it's Vince and she's conflicted honestly. Curtis... I'm not even sure what is deal is. I guess he's sour because he doesn't feel as close to them as the main 3 are with each other.

I do feel as if they will be setting Vince up for redemption as well as death.

Like the new use of the T-Sphere.

Oliver stepping up and apologizing and overcoming and choosing to trust was huge. Major character progression. I loved that moment. Wasn't quite a fan of the newbies not taking the olive branch. However, I think they have to learn on their own the mistake they made. At the end of the day not everyone can be leaders which I kind of feel like the newbies regret not having more power On the team.

Our boy Dig is back. Oh yea baby. Love it

Oh and love bertnelli involvement and the huntress name drop. Plus it gave us sassy Felicity comment.

Always appreciate Thea and Quentin scenes. Touching but not quite the same as Laurel and Quentin.

Black Siren looks so hot in her Black Wig. Also enjoyed the new look at her powers with the little kiss and blow.

Yeah, but I guess that was made to make the whole separation thing last more time. I think the 6 will be together soon.

For some reason I had a hard time really connecting to this episode. The team are starting to really irritate me. Really wish I had more to say about the episode but TBH I didnt pay as much attention to this one as I could have. I need something bigger to happen. Some of the season has felt repetitive.
