Agreed. It was written so well for the first few episodes of Season 2 and then everything just fell apart, they just got in a relationship too quickly and we never really seen much of it or even much flashbacks and then a meaningless break up. I just don't get it.

Makes me wish they never got back together.

BUT I hope to see them still support and care for each other.

I'm more upset with how their relationship was handled after 2x13 Heir to the Demon, I loved their relationship, it was written and handled so well and then they got together and NOTHING. So I wish probably they would have waited to put these two back together or just kept them in a friendship.

I know what you mean, this show though doesn't seem to know how to write relationships. here's hoping we'll get a great friendship in the 3rd season.

Yeah the romance has been written horrible on this show thus far.

I hope for a good friendship as well... and even more backstory.

Same here. In an ideal world, the writers would have put Shado together with Slade and used the flashbacks to develop a real romantic relationship between Oliver and Sara on the island. At the same time, they would have shown Sara and Oliver reconnecting in the present timeline and established that they still have the same feelings for each other, but refuse to act on them because of Laurel's downward spiral and the threat of Slade looming around the corner. I guess we probably would have seen something along those lines if the writers had been serious about this pairing, but they never intended to give them a fair shot. It's a shame because I am generally not big into shipping, but I really could have seen myself shipping these 2 if the writers had handled them properly.
