For me It doesn't, I love them right from the moment Oliver kept ditching him.

I echo your sentiment.

I loved the scenes with Oliver and Diggle in the last episode, especially when Dig was being so protective of Oliver.

Welcome to the thread! I love that as well... and their friendship just continues growing in each episode.

In 1x15, I loved Diggle protectiveness over Oliver as well. I loved how honest he was to Oliver.

Yup classic scenes and then when he got his new bodyguard and he went to the washroom and Diggle's just like "He's long gone dude"
