Favorite scene from Season 1 is when Oliver revealed himself to Diggle as Green Arrow. My reaction on the episode discussion thread at the time was probably.

It was just so awesomely shocking!

I loved a lot of S1 D/O stuff. Its why I've always said that D/O will always be my main ship of the show.

I loved Oliver bailing out off the moving car in the pilot. Then Dig appearing in the back seat with him next time so he couldn't escape.

They also had a lot of fun comments. "Oh, you mean like how i said I had to go to the bathroom and then never returned."

Well it was something like that.

Oh, no i really loved that scene where they are sitting in the back of the car after Moira tries to get oliver to step up in the company. When Dig talks about how coming hard is the hardest thing a soldier can do because everyone always wants something from you.

I'm with you on that, D/O relationship really was the first big Oliver relationship when he returned from the Island, I feel.

I loved their relationship from the first few episodes when Oliver kept bailing on poor Diggle.

The "home is a batter-field" speech was a good scene. It showed some insight into Diggle and how Oliver/Diggle's bond would start to be formed.
