I loved S1 and S2 flashback moments. Slade and him had a lot of funny moments and witty one liners I enjoyed in S1 flashbacks.

Favorite Season one moment is hard. I actually really still love that moment in the pilot between Moira and Oliver when she says, "my beautiful boy." I'm a sucker for that because I'm pretty sure it's part of the reason I became hooked.

Also really loved the scene a few episodes later with Thea and Him at the grave and she's begging him to let someone in.

Then that last scene of the episode where Tommy learns the truth at the hospital. He looks so broken after Tommy looks so defeated when Oliver tells him he never would have told him the truth.

I think my favorite Oliver S1 flashback was when he knew the book quote in 1X14. He was so proud of himself for remembering and having read The Odyssey. The flashbacks in that episode in general were good.

Slade and Oliver's flashbacks were really good. But to be honest I don't remember very well the flashbacks. Time to watch them again, maybe.
In comparison to other flashbacks, the ones from S1 were the best

yeah the flashbacks from season one is the best i agree on that

i wonder if we will see slades son, we saw him in LoT, willl we ever get that backstory, or ? i would love to see it on arrow

I'm wondering how Slade escaped and then had a son after escaping in the alternate universe

^ TBH i kept waiting for Amanda Waller to try and use Slade as one of her pawns and have it backfire. I always assumed shed be the one to let him go. Granted she's dead now so who really knows. Malcolm knows Slade is alive and on the Island and well Will we ever really trust Malcolm to not use that knowledge at some point?

good point Malcolm could have freed Slade somehow after LoT team left for their mission in January
