He can say so much without actually saying anything. His eyes and body language are amazing tools that he uses to develop this character. He never appears wooden to me. I think casting him in the role was sheer genius.

I think this comes through especially because of the (literally) thousands of gifs of him out there. Every movement and glance can be seen over and over in great detail. I see things in the gifs that I didn't notice when I watched the show.
