nice episode.... interesting that Diggle and Deadshot came to some kind of understanding, so to speak.
From everything in the episode I think Sara will die before the end of the season now. Liked Diggle having a focus but it was tough not seeing a lot of the rest of the cast at the same time. I do feel a tad like some S/L's are just kind of ... IDK, there? right now and not really moving as they try to develop and wrap up and in tonight's case perhaps introduce new ones. The show does a great job and I love just about every character, secondary and main - with a few exceptions - but its a double edged sword because when you bring int he new S/L's and characters, the other ones kind of step back normally. But regardless of my misgivings on that, I enjoyed seeing DIggle more front and center and apparently yes, indeed, it was Harley Quinn in the holding cell at Argus __________________

Decent episode here, and the main reason I enjoyed it was because it was John Diggle focus. We have barely seen him in like the last 5+ episodes so it was good seeing him again.
I loved seeing the suicide squad. It was awesome seeing them work together. I enjoyed seeing into Diggle's past, and I love Diggle being overprotective over Felicity. I love Sara/Oliver ... but Laurel being in the middle of it is kind of bad writing to me. I just don't understand why Sara doesn't seem to be even a tad bit remorseful. If I'm Laurel, I'm just so fed up, I wouldn't be able to be around Oliver or Sara right now... especially this soon. I just feel that whole thing can get written better. Also everything with Sara/Oliver seems to be a set up to Sara Lance dying by the end of this season, Oliver has every right to be concerned because Slade does realize Oliver's feelings towards Sara, and he know that Oliver chose Sara over Shado so these next few episodes will be interesting. I loved Deadshot! I enjoyed him in episode 2.08 'Keep Your Enemies Closer' as well. So I can't wait to see more of him in the future. Bronze Tiger was also interesting with the little bit of scenes he had to work with. Overall, decent episode... I hope next week though we get to see more of the whole series regulars cause I seem to enjoy those episodes more. So I'd love to see more of Roy, Moria and even probably Thea next week... |

exactly. More Moira, Roy, Slade, even Thea. Missed Detective Lance too and I wonder what Sebastian Blood's up to. But with the Huntress returning (at least for an eppy) I don't know how much of them we'll see? Cause I imagine that might be a big focus on the episode next week, maybe? I too seem to enjoy the episode when we get more of the "regulars" though I do wonder when the next time we might see Harley or any other members of the suicide squad. Also agree that it was good timing for a Diggle centric episode (made me think his ex-wife might die too since he said he wasn't going to lose her again?) and did love the fact that he was looking after Felicity. __________________

Let me guess, Amanda was on the most crowded Island ever too. I still the wish the actress was more formidable looking though.
I loved this episode, Diggle getting to do things is always a plus for me. I liked seeing his relationship with Harbinger and how he dealt with Deadshot. Everyone has reasons for doing what they do, it just depends what it is. I wish we had gotten a scene with Oliver and Dig talking at the bar instead of Laurel/Oliver. I still have no clue what they are doing with her. If you skipped over her scenes it would not interrupt the narrative at all. So they keep showing me unnecessary she is. Maybe Dig should be looking into what his brother was up to that got him on a list to be assassinated. I'm glad Sara said it because really Ollie, you think pushing the people you care about away is going to stop Slade from killing them? He's not an idiot, he knows you still care about them and hurting them would hurt you no matter how far away you push them. I do hate that they bring in people and totally waste them. Sean Maher as Shrapnel and Alex Kingston as Dinah Lance are the two biggest wastes of a known sci fi actor/actress. What was the point of them? Also Harley Quinn!!! With a speaking line. I can't wait to meet her crazy ass sometime in the future. __________________

killing Shrapnel proved a point though, in a way as to how Amanda kept control of these people when they were aware from her... which kind of makes locking them up somewhat redundant but regardless...

Can we keep Deadshot?
They need to keep him as a recurring character on the show. He can fill the anti hero quota. And @Coconut, right? Waller doesn't seem intimidating to me. And what are the odds of her being on the island in S3 . RIP Bratva guy, Alexei. Edit: and RIP Shrapnel. Last edited by celestial_; 03-19-2014 at 10:29 PM |

The episode was pretty cool!
It was nice to have a Diggle centered ep. And the Suicide Squad was awesome! Kinda sucked that Shapnel got killed but of the 3 I prefere Deadshot and Tiger so I'm glad it wasn't either of them that died. The Sara/Ollie scenes were great. I love how Sara isn't letting him push her away. My heart continues to break though for the possibility that Sara may die. I don't want her to! OMG and the best part- the name 'Deathstroke' is finally revealed ~*~*~ OMG you guys and "Harley Quinn". Out of the many villians out there she is one that gives me the creeps __________________

Episode was awesome! Action was great! Do you guys think this was also meant to be a backdoor pilot? It felt like that to me.

Regarding the Suicide Squad... it would be really interesting for a spin off. I kind of hope it happens... and I wonder about Roy if it did. I mean, Arsenal was a member of the Suicide Squad for a time if memory serves correct. __________________
