The Vampire Diaries {Klaus} Discussion Thread A FLASHBACK TO NEW ORLEANS IN 1942 — When Stefan ({Paul Wesley) confronts Damon (Ian Somerhalder) with a suspicion about Elena (Nina Dobrev), Damon has no choice but to help Stefan investigate. Searching for answers, Damon and Stefan visit modern day New Orleans to see if they can find anyone who remembers the events of their last visit in 1942, including one of Damon’s former flames, Charlotte (guest star Madeline Zima). Elena, Caroline (Candice Accola) and Bonnie (Kat Graham) share a girls’ night while the Salvatore brothers are out of town, and emotions run high when Elena delivers some shocking news. At Hayley’s (guest star Phoebe Tonkin) urging, Tyler (Michael Trevino) confronts one of Klaus’ hybrids, Kimberly (guest star Alyssa Diaz), and the situation quickly escalates into violence. Finally, Damon is faced with a heartbreaking decision. __________________

He is supposed to be a main character this season also. I wish he would be in every episode. I can understand one or two here he is not in, but it seems like every other episode we don't get him.__________________

Episodes without Klaus are pretty lackluster
 Klaus is one of the best things about this show  I wish he could be on every episode  __________________

Ep8 was when Joseph first had to go home for some family time hence him not being in that ep at least he will be back in ep 9 not sure about ep 10 as he went back to his family again for a bit in the same month. I agree with you all though eps without Klaus are pretty dull

^ Episodes without Klaus really make me appreciate when he does show up. It doesn't even matter to me when all he does in some of those episodes is to be the evil hybrid and terrorize the townsfolk. Episodes are just slightly better when he's in them.
