thanks, love. i got that t.p.t.b. had to throw a bit of drama into the mix for jackie/hyde, but they didn't have to go down the one route that i hated about jackie and her previous boyfriend, kelso. i really enjoyed jackie/hyde's build-up throughout the first four seasons, absolutely loved them in season five when they got together ( which was also the season that the cheating incident happened ), liked them in seasons six and seven, and pretty much blocked out season eight 'cause t.p,t.b. decided that they were done with jackie/hyde as a ship. it's the one ship that i will forever be bitter and devastated about with how they turned out in the end.

a part of me was expecting the sad/everyone dies ending for bsg. i'm also glad that they went in a different route.

i'm the complete opposite. i keep my must-watch recommendation list close at hand, but i don't try to get others to watch the shows on my list unless i'm completely blown-away by what i watched and i can't contain myself, and/or someone wants to start watching the show in question and i feel compelled to give my opinion on whether i enjoyed it or not.

with the way things are going, i'm probably still gonna be in paper pile-reduction mode for at least a year.

eta: si, you'll be glad to know that i found my camera and i do indeed have a photo of edward james olmos. i'll post it once i find the necessary cable to transfer the photo onto my computer.
