A lot of characters died during the course of the show. I can imagine how you must have loved it when those characters turned up again. I remembered how loud I would scream every time Boone appeared. She would watch the episodes first while I was at work. Then when I would get home at around 1:30 AM, she'd tell me right before I'd watch the episodes that she had a strong feeling that I was going to get really excited during some of the shippy moments. I would always be skeptical, telling her that I'd be the judge of that. Then I'd watch the scenes and I'd get excited, just as she had predicted. Yes, I'm not looking forward to some of those Jack moments. I guess I have to prepare myself for six seasons of moments. I was pretty meh about Kate/Jack a lot of the time. I didn't see Jack/Juliet or Sawyer/Juliet. I guess it remains to be seen how I'll see them during my catch-up.

I love watching a show that has reached the series finale, because it makes me focus on all the details when I know that the show ends after __ episodes. When I start watching a show that's in-progress, I tend to forget some of the details when I catch up with everyone else and then move on to another show. I wish I could do a re-watch of an old favorite show. The last time I did that was when I re-watched BMW because I wanted to start watching GMW. I have quite a few ships that have Bellarke's dynamic. I wonder how I'll feel about them. =p Yes, I'm definitely not a fan of long hiatus. I guess it's a waiting game with The 100. Let me know if it is still a show that you'd recommend once you see how it turns out.
^ Hope you enjoy it when you get caught up

Aw, Boone!! It's so funny when I rewatched the first season because now I see him as Damon from TVD Aw, haha!! That's so cute about your mom watching and preparing you for some exciting scenes! Yeah, like I said they all had their moment, Jack/Juliet and Sawyer/Juliet had theirs and I enjoyed some of it and some of it, I was indifferent.

That's why I like doing rewatches when the shows over, which is why I'm doing it with Lost now. I wanted to wait until the show was over before I did a big rewatch. I'll do the same with Game of Thrones I did a rewatch of BMW before getting into GMW as well Hopefully you like them, but it's all in your preference. I always say I don't pick the ships, they pick me Okay I'll definitely do that

^ Thanks for the new thread.

To me, he'll always be Hamilton first, then Boone, and then Damon. I have mad-love for Ian. I'm going to be conflicted about Boone's death though. On the one hand, losing Boone was . On the other hand, getting Aaron into the story was . It was great having someone prepare me for certain storylines. Now I'm on my own. I'll let you know what I think of all of the ships within the love-square.

Lost is pretty low on my list for re-watches/catch-ups. I'm postponing it as much as possible. You're watching Game of Thrones? Everyone says that it's a great show, but I never really felt that pull to watch it. I felt the same way about The Walking Dead, but the only difference was that it was already on my 'maybe' list, so it didn't take much to start watching it. Boy Meets World was such a big part of my childhood. I grew up with the characters, so I felt connected to them. I even remember watching the series finale and bawling when Cory, Topanga and Shawn said goodbye to Mr. Feeney. That's how sad I was that it was over. I just couldn't start watching Girl Meets World without re-living those great moments that I remembered. We don't pick ships. They pick us. Isn't that the truth. I can't tell you how many times I've watched two characters together, and haven't felt any ships vibes, but then one single moments between them has just triggered this big obsession with them. I know that Bellarke is probably going to be one of those "will they/won't they" ships. I'm just hoping that if I do end up watching the show and loving them, that I'll be prepared for the roller-coaster ride.

^You're welcome

It was sad when Boone died, he was the first of the main characters to go But I did love that episode and how it symbolized life and death with Aaron being born the same night Boone died. Aw Looking forward to hear what you think

Yeah I'm taking my time with the Lost rewatch. I watched the first 2 seasons, but now it's on pause for TVD. Game of Thrones is really good, as long as you're prepared for lots of sex, blood and gore The Walking Dead is on my maybe list. I think I'm going to wait for that show to end and then binge watch it. I bawled when BMW ended as well! That final scene with Mr. Feeny It is such a great feeling when you're watching a new show and then two characters share a scene and then you just know, that's your ship, that's you OTP. I love it!! Yes, be prepared because it is a roller-coaster with them, but so worth it. They've had an amazing journey so far, I can't wait to see where they go from here!

^ I remember crying when Boone died. I still get teary thinking about it. When I initially watched the episode, I was just smad that Boone had died. When I analyze it now, I realize that balance had to be kept by the island. Boone had to die so that Aaron could be born and live. I'll be sure to tell you my thoughts when I watch it.

I can't do that. If I don't finish a show that I've started watching, then I'll never finish it. I can't pick it up at a later date. It's all-or-nothing for me. Either I finish it, or I don't start it in the first place. Why did you stop Lost after season two? Maybe that's why I haven't felt the urge to watch Game of Thrones. I'm not all that into gore. I would recommend The Walking Dead. It's a great show. At this point, I can't even imagine how it could possibly end. I hope you get a chance to watch it. "I love you all. Class dismissed." -- . I love that feeling. Some of my favorite ships are the ones that took me by surprise. That's the side of watching shows that I really love. Sounds like fun (and torture). I hope I'll get a chance to see for myself one of these days.

^I remember being really sad when he died, but I agree like you said there had to be a balance. It's just sad that Boone had to pay the price

Usually I am too! But I just got this need to rewatch TVD and I just didn't feel like watching Lost anymore for the moment. I'm still going to finish my rewatch, just probably not until I finish TVD or want a pause on that especially in the later seasons We'll see. I'm usually not into gore either, but Game of Thrones just hooked me in. My sister started watching it, and I ended up watching it with her and then I just had to continue I probably will watch The Walking Dead, but only when it all ends. That line!! Same for me! The best ships take you by surprise, Klaroline did for me! I went from being a casual TVD watcher to becoming obsessed all because of Klaroline and how much I instantly loved them! I hope you do too!

^ That's been my problem in the past. I've started watching a show, but then another show has caught my eye and I've lost motivation to finish the show that I was initially watching. I've been doing better lately. I've pretty much ignored any and all shows except the show that I've been watching. The flipside of doing that is that I've been adding more shows to my watch-list than removing them. Right now, Game of Thrones is very low on my 'maybe' list. I guess it will depend on the reviews that I hear and read when the show ends. I was so sure that I would watch True Blood eventually...but then I heard some things about the series finale and now I'm not so sure anymore. My brother was one of the reasons that I decided to watch The Walking Dead. He would watch the episodes live, but I wasn't convinced that I would love it as much as he did, since I didn't really want to watch gross zombies walking around. Then I kept hearing from everyone that I should really give it a try, so I made the decision to watch it. Now it's one of my favorite shows. Me too! I wasn't invested in the main triangle, but I liked the show enough that I kept watching it. Then I saw what happened between Klaus and Caroline in Our Town, Dangerous Liaisons and All My Children, and I finally (FINALLY!) found my reason to tune in. Klaroline was the first ship in seven years that got me excited to watch a show again. That's why I have held onto them through the separate shows/storylines and the other love interests.

^I'm continually adding shows to my ever growing rewatch list!! Yeah, it all depends on your preference I never had an interest in watching True Blood. My stepmom watches TWD and loves it, and I see it from time to time when she watches and it looks good. Kinda gross at some parts But still good storylines! Me and you are the same as far as TVD goes!! Klaroline is just one of those ships that was magic right from the start! I loved everything about them, and I "met" so many amazing shippers because of them!

^ At the moment, I've misplaced my list. I don't think it's such a bad thing though, because I can't afford to add any more shows to it. At the rate that I've been adding titles to the list, I'm going to be watching and re-watching shows when I'm in my eighties or nineties. Back when the Klaroline thread on the The Vampire Diaries board was one of the most active threads on the board, one of the shippers mentioned that she saw similarities between Eric/Sookie and Klaus/Caroline. Well, the last time a shipper saw similarities between two ships that they loved, I became curious to check out the show and to see for myself if I felt the same way. When I finally got my chance to watch the show, not only did I find a great show, but I also found one of my favorite ships of all time. In fact, I ended up loving the second, older ship [i.e. ship B] more than the ship that had brought me and the shipper together in the same thread [i.e. ship A]. Ship B found the ending that I was so sure that ship A should have found. The similarities between the two ships is the reason that I've pretended all these years that ship A did get the same happy ending that ship B got. Apparently, lightning didn't strike twice, because after hearing about how disappointed fans of True Blood were of the series finale, I decided that chances were slim that I'd ever check it out. I wouldn't have even minded the scenes with blood, sex or gore. That's how much I wanted to watch the show. It's funny how everybody was on the The Walking Dead wagon years before I even considered it. My brother, his wife and his in-laws all watch it. I just had to see what all the fuss was about. The grossest part is definitely the walkers. You watch an episode, and you think that it just can't get any grosser. Then you watch the next episode and it gets grosser. I love it though. I've gotten so used to it by now that I don't even notice the gross walkers walking around anymore. The best thing you can do is to focus on the survivors and how they bond with each other and how they deal with every obstacle that comes their way. I love that! At least there's someone out there who has had the same journey with The Vampire Diaries that I have had. Now that I've decided to re-watch the episodes, and to pay attention to details, I might have some thoughts on the first two seasons. =p That's exactly how I feel about them. I wasn't looking to ship any couples on the show, so when Klaus/Caroline came around, I was hit so fast and so hard by feels. I'll probably be shipping Klaroline into the afterlife. I know! I too have met tons of great shippers since I came out of the shipper closet. They give me life.

If you're talking about the original series, then I wish you luck in watching it. I couldn't imagine watching twenty seasons of any show right now.
