It's an interesting question indeed. I think his decision to un-dagger them would have depended on the reason that he daggered them...and whether he was ready to deal with the fallout.

^ Yes, and Finn was the least volatile and least vindictive of his siblings, so his retaliation wasn't going to be too bad. His other siblings were more likely to make him pay for daggering them. Originals or not, he took decades away from them. There was no way they were going to follow the script that he set out for them. They weren't just going to be happy that he had decided that it was time he un-daggered them...at least not before they got a chance to make him feel how they felt during the decades he cost them.

Agreed it really was probably a bribe from Esther or totally agree on Klaus taking it that way - so think its a 50|50 between it being a bribe from Esther and do believe that I remembered that Ansel knew about Hope

^ You got it. Klaus already didn't trust that Ansel's return wasn't a sort of bribe from Esther, trying to convince Klaus to accept her offer to give up his immortality. Then once Ansel told him that he knew that Hope was alive, Ansel became too much of a liability for him. How else was Klaus going to react besides to kill him and get rid of that liability?

^ I know! Me too. Klaus has had an existence that has spanned more than a thousand years, so there may be too much to overcome for him. Despite that, I still think that Ansel's presence in Klaus' life could have given him the chance to feel the unconditional love of a parent.

2x08 when Klaus kills Ansel I really think it was the fact that Ansel knew that Hope was alive - that was the driving force to why Klaus killed his real father - if it was just Esther's deal, than think he wouldn't have killed his father

Yea thought the fact of Davina having a "leash" on Mikael was hilarious

Ugh Esther as always tries to have the right "reasons" even if she's CRAZY on her ways of doing things wanting to kill Hope related to Dahlia and than her love for Klaus's father was real

^ I'm always going to wonder about that. Did Ansel telling Klaus that he knew that Hope was alive sign his death warrant? For all we know, even if Ansel hadn't known that Hope was alive, Klaus would have still killed Ansel just so Esther wouldn't have been able to use him against Klaus.

It was amusing indeed.

Esther was never going to win mother-of-the-year, that's for sure. I wish we could have seen more of Esther and Mikael's dynamic. I mean, clearly he had mad respect for her as a witch, and he did love her enough to want to avenge her after Klaus killed her. It's just interesting that his hatred was reserved for Klaus for centuries and he didn't seem to hold any ill feelings for her, even after he found out that she had had an affair with Ansel.

Yes Ansel said that he kept waking up farther and farther from New Orleans - Ansel was drawn to his own blood. So he knew that Klaus's daughter was alive

Yusaf the actor that plays Finn|Vincent is amazing BUT I kinda dislike the total OOC related to Finn We barely got anything of Finn related to TVD and he was just boring devoted to Esther Regarding to how "evil" he was in TO

2x18 Klaus and Mikael working together is pretty awesome

The ending to the episode when Klaus kills Mikael to get the ashes that they needed to make another weapon against Dahlia though the Klaus|Mikael moment just before when Klaus had the weapon against Mikael was incredible the conversation about Mikael not knowing why
