i wish we could have seen more of henrik. like si said, he seemed like such a sweet boy. i hope that season two will give us another glimpse into what their lives were like before they became originals. i wanna see the whole family together, which is something that we haven't gotten a chance to see yet.

we haven't seen that many flashbacks of them as humans and/or as a family. it couldn't have been just drama with them, right? there had to have been some tender moments too. i just hope tptb will give us those flashbacks of the mikaelsons so that we can see them as a family together. i'm keeping my fingers crossed that we get lots of insight into who these characters were as humans, what they went through both separately and together, and how those experiences changed them in both good ways and bad.

Well, they had that cute flashback of the 5 kids playing.... that was adorable...
But I agree, it would've been nice to see them as human adults just acting like family

^ seeing all of the mikaelson kids playing together was such a great moment. i love those moments where we get to see them as regular people before they became the infamous originals. i mean, they have all been touched by so much darkness for a thousand years, so it makes me so happy when we get to see those rare glimpses of their light shining through from time to time. i wanna see more flashback moments with them. i have so many questions that i hope get answered at some point doing the series run. i would accept even one of my questions being answered in season two.

^ i have too many questions that are constantly swirling around my head, but i keep forgetting to write them down. here are some of them, off the top of my head:

• when and how did mikael find out about esther and klaus' father?
• how did the originals discover what they were capable of as vampires (ie compulsion, superspeed, superstrength, etc)? how did they discover that they could turn other people into vampires?
• what happened in the moment when klaus 'killed' esther?
• mikael/esther, finn/sage, klaus/tatia and elijah/tatia in their relationships -- i'm curious about their dynamics as couples.
• finn, kol, henrik and the other original children that we didn't see -- what were they like as humans?

all of my burning questions are about the original children: who stayed together? who went his or her separate way? where did they go? what caused them to leave their siblings when they decided to go their own way? what brought them back together time and again?
