So am I! TPTB spent season one figuring things out. Then season two came around, and boom they shifted focus to the family and they've kept that focus throughout the rest of the series.

^ Right? I mean, a show titled The Originals should actually be about the Originals. I'm so happy TPTB decided to shine more light on the family in season two, like bringing back the other members of the family that we hadn't seen in a long while.

Well of course the attention to Elijah and Klaus (especially in the first season) because on Vampire Diaries, I really just didn't feel their brother love all that much.

Even though I didn't like either one of them, I love that TPTB brought them back! You can't have a show about the Originals without the leaders of the pack.

Oh, definitely! The brotherly bond between Klaus and Elijah was one thing that was missing from The Vampire Diaries. I always wanted to see more of them. The fact that The Originals popped up and we got to see more of a focus on their dynamic was amazing.

I didn't mind Mikael any appearance he had either TVD or Originals felt the actor had that character down - like he had the right feel

Esther only on TVD where am partly into her return for Originals again think the actress that played for on TVD

^ Oh, Sebastian did such an amazing job of playing Mikael. It was a struggle for me to applaud the performance but dislike the character.

Season two Esther made me dislike the character even more. I sometimes understand why she did what she did...but in the end, I always end up coming back to disliking her.

Oh I never disliked Mikael I like my villains and its cause of how REMARKABLE Sebastian was DAMN

Yea a lot of what she did on The Originals I understood and didn't dislike her TVD stuff
