If they have seen or talked to each other between Joseph's last episode on The Vampire Diaries and the season five premiere of The Originals, then I am going to start coming up with possible moments that they shared. :love_story: :yay:
Happy Anniversary, fellow Klaroliners! It's been exactly five years (May 16, 2013) since Klaus told Caroline that he intends to be her last love however long it takes. :love_story: :melt: I'm going to celebrate by breaking down the rest of their scenes from the season five premiere...and putting my favorite bits into a list. :yay:
- I got slight flashbacks to two significant Klaroline episodes in season four. When Caroline covered up Klaus' kills with a blanket in this episode, it reminded me of Into the Wild when Caroline made a point to cover up Kol's body with a blanket. Then when I saw Klaus sitting (like a freaking king!) on the sofa while she dealt with the bodies, it reminded me of Down the Rabbit Hole. Caroline came to talk to Klaus about his desire to hunt down and kill Tyler, and she found him sitting very much like we saw in this episode, only this time he didn't have a scowl on his face. =p I don't know if those parallels were intentional, but I loved them anyway. :woot:
- He was trying not to flatter himself that she was there on a sudden whim to see him. Of course he would think that. He knows perfectly well that the ball is in her court, so her sudden appearance would definitely get him thinking that she may have been ready for the whole 'last love' of it all. :in_love: :yay:
- In my shippy head, the way Caroline talked about Hope made me think that Caroline must have been very fond of Hope, and that seeing her around the school reminded Caroline of Klaus. And naturally, my favorite part was the fact that they both said that Hope was too smart for her own good, "like her father." And the way they looked at each other after they said that made me feel all warm and tingly inside. :in_love: :melt: :yay:
- I loved that Caroline knew that Klaus' killing spree wasn't a result of Klaus finally going bonkers and that it wasn't random. She knew him well enough to know that there was method to his madness, and that he had a specific reason that he was methodically picking off all the members of the Gatineaux family. :evil_lol: :yay:
- She got him to clean up some of his mess :lmao:, plus the way he looked at her while they were doing it? It felt like old times. :sigh:
- I loved that he told her that he wasn't good without Elijah, that their separation was worse than if Elijah were dead...and she seemed to see how much that admission killed him. :thud:
- And the fact that she told him to stop using Mikael as an excuse to be a bad father was fantastic! He needed to hear that. :headslap:  And I loved that she told him that she knew what it was like when she was a kid and she missed her father when he wasn't around. It looked like her words got through to him. She made him see that cutting off all ties with Hope was only going to cause him to lose her and vice versa.
- "I happen to think that you're someone worth knowing." >> I love that we have one more classic 'right in the feels' quote that we can add to the list. :love_story: :melt: :thud:
All sorts of feels! :melt:
