^ Right? As it was established very early on in season four, blood-sharing is kind of personal for both parties that are doing it. I can definitely see Klaus being selective with the people that he let drink directly from him.

You know, I was kind of surprised that Klaus let Elena drink directly from him in that episode. I wonder why he did that.

^ I was referring to episode 4x03 when Elena went to a party and she drank beer spiked with werewolf venom....which required Klaus to drop by and make a blood donation to cure her. I was wondering why Klaus allowed Elena to drink from him directly.

^ He does indeed. I didn't think Klaus would have such a gentle moment with Elena. He seemed to keep a face with her a lot of the time. She was a means to an end for him, so to see him be gentle with her even after he didn't have to be was a pleasant surprise.

^ Right? My fuzzy recollection seems to come back to me that he was gentler with her after she became a vampire...which is funny since you would think he would be gentler with her when she was human.

^ That is true. He was such an odd one that he was gentler with her when she was a vampire than when she was a human. I love how TPTB found a way to keep Klaus and Elena in each other's orbit, even after she became a vampire. I remember that one scene in season four where she went to him to help her deal with Kol.
