Summer was great in this episode. It a shame we will not be returning next season. I loved all the scenes between her and Klaus . They actually seem like father and daughter. The last scene between Klaus and Hope gutted me. When Klaus waited until Hope awoke to know that she was ok, and she said "Daddy"? before he left. That was so sad :sad: That was the first time Klaus heard Hope call him daddy. Did you notice there hasn't been any scenes between Elijah and Hope? None. I wonder why?

Good point--it is strange there were no scenes between Elijah and Hope. Summer is not returning for next year? Yeah, she was a good actress. I was surprised she held her own as The Hollow too.

I liked how when Marcel was compelling Elijah to forget the family, we saw scenes between he and the family including the scene between he and Marcel as a kid which was so cute. It is so sad that Elijah even sacrificed his closeness to Marcel for Klaus' sake, staying away from Marcel and making himself look like the bad guy and then finally becoming so estranged as to kill Marcel out of fear and paranoia.

So Marcel made him forget him too? I wonder if Elijah going to stay like that? If Elijah forgot he has family (his humanity) there is nothing to prevent him from turning totally evil. So that means that they can't even talk on the phone to Elijah. I think that a crappy why to treat your leading man. So I'm starting to think that Daniel Gillies (aka Elijah) will not be returning for season 5.

I thought it was weird that Elijah and Hope never had any on screen one on one scenes, especially considering how Elijah was suppose to be all about Hayley and Hope. Kol and Marcel had a scene with Hope but they never was one scene of Elijah and Hope.

I kind of wish they'd not gone down the route of compelling away Elijah's connections to everyone. It seems to me that as a plot device has been done to death on TVD, and it's a shame they couldn't find some other way of moving forward.

Having said that I really hope that Elijah will be back. I'd like to see him get some happiness.

I agree, Summer was awesome! Shame she won't be back. Lets hope there are some flashbacks with her in.
