OH MY GOSH - those last few seconds of just Hayley and seeing her make the decision than

Klaus craving Hayley's name into the tree and his speech

making me cry - what a great a speech

When she took a look around the room and she saw that no one was going to be able to help/save her, she made the ultimate sacrifice...and she took Greta with her.

It really was a beautiful speech. You can tell that he had come to care for her, and that the loss of her was going to affect him.

^ Right? And the next episode was awesome for them too! I enjoyed seeing brief glimpses into their never-before-seen encounters, especially the last scene when he read her letters and he broke down.

Reading the letters was

his breaking down - felt it was a bittersweet yet beautiful going inbetween Elijah and Klaus

^ It really was. As painful as it was for him to read those letters, he had to do it.

I wonder why he didn't read those letters when he could have.

I liked that too. It was almost like they were both trying to come to terms with their new realities.

Their scenes were so special.

I always had a soft spot in my heart for these 2 since Season 1 of TO so their scenes was so amazing for me to watch.

Klaus crying in the end and everything was so sad.

^ After butting heads for much of their beginning, they found their groove. It was obvious that they were in a much better place with one another. It sucks that we discovered some of their best moments after she was already gone.

Reading her words really affected him. It hit him in that moment that she wasn't going to be there with him anymore. He really felt her loss.
