^ Ah, yes. That was before Klaus told Stefan that he learned some of his favorite tricks from him...and then we saw what he meant.

It's interesting that Klaus used Stefan's 1920s trick against him when he bargained to have him join him on his werewolf-tracking road-trip. "Finish it."

^ I know! It was pretty creative of TPTB to take that scene at the end of season two and flip it to show us that Klaus used one of Ripper!Stefan's tricks on him.

^ Of course he did. Ripper!Stefan was the only Stefan that Klaus knew, and from the brief glimpse we got of the two of them together, he was rather fond of him. Of course he wanted to bring him back, since he needed a murder buddy like the good old days in 1920s Chicago.

it seemed that Klaus knew of Ripper even before he had met Stefan in the 20s and than he was absolutely fond of Ripper!Stefan - probably saw him like a brother

^ That is true. They looked very brotherly in those flashbacks.

I wonder if Klaus knew that Stefan was in Chicago, or if he just happened to stumbled upon him in that bar. Was Klaus drawn there because he knew Ripper!Stefan was there, or was it a coincidence?

I'll have to keep an eye out for that.
