Yes it was. They had such a weird friendship. Wish they could have seen each other again

^ They really did have an interesting dynamic. If Stefan had been the guy that Klaus became friends with in 1920s Chicago, then they would have been an unstoppable force. The fact that Stefan wasn't the same guy really did make it a one-sided friendship.

I thought that their last moment together left the door open for another reunion. Unfortunately, it didn't happen.

^ Yeah. That's what I get for having expectations.

I could have accepted that they didn't see each other again after Stefan went to Klaus for help with Rayna...if TPTB had given us a post-Vampire Diaries mention. I wanted Klaus to bring up Stefan, like when he found out that Stefan had died.

^ Right? I would have taken a one-line mention, even if it hadn't been Klaus who mentioned Stefan. I just wanted something to show that Klaus had mourned Stefan in his own way.

^ Yes! Klaus didn't have very many friends, but he consider Stefan a friend. Clearly Stefan meant a lot to him. I just wish TPTB had included a mention.

They should have shown something about Klaus finding out Stefan

^ Exactly. Klaus mentioning how/when he found out about Stefan's death -- that was the only expectation that I had. I just wanted Klaus to mention Stefan, maybe even show how he mourned his friend's passing.

Oh, yes. No matter how many scenes they had, it never seemed enough. I always wanted more of them.

You know, I would have happily watched a show that was completely centered around them. I think it would have been quite an entertaining show.
