Them doing it together made it though :sigh:

^ That was definitely reason to get gushy about that moment. Klaus knew that sacrificing himself/dying was his only option, and Elijah didn't want to live in a world without Klaus. :thud:

That really was :thud: when Elijah said that he saw a future for the others but didn't see anything for himself

Talk about the growth with their relationship over the years.:)

^ It was great to see that growth. :yay:

Right? When I think about everything that they've been through together, their many ups and down, it was very much in-character for Elijah's survival to be tied so tightly with Klaus'. :slinkie: :in_love: :slinkie:

crash landing 08-22-2018 04:45 AM

I totally agree that his survival being tied to Klaus's and think the bench conversation was done perfectly :thud:

rocky845 08-23-2018 06:30 PM

^ Now that the dust has settled, I can see that it made sense for them to leave this world together. Aw, the bench scene -- they made two important decisions on that bench: to stay in New Orleans and to leave this world. :slinkie: :in_love: :bawl: :thud:

crash landing 08-28-2018 04:11 PM

Yes it was perfect for it to happen at the end on the bench :thud: just like the first important decision of staying in New Orleans

^ They certainly came full-circle, which is probably what TPTB were going for. :slinkie: :roller: :slinkie: :yay:

that sounds like that's a good thing....:)

rocky845 09-01-2018 01:12 PM

^ It was the perfect bookend to their story that they made that final major choice on that bench. :read: :slinkie: :in_love: :slinkie: :thud:

it sounds like a happy approaval from you

rocky845 09-02-2018 08:41 PM

^ Ideally, I would have wanted them both to survive...but if they were going to go like that, then I would have wanted them to go together. :slinkie: :thud: :abduct:  :snail: :slinkie: :thud: :abduct:

Oh absolutely and I do feel like it was perfectly pieced together :thud: Elijah's explanation and everything - beautifully done

rocky845 10-16-2018 10:30 PM

^ It really was so beautiful and well done. When it hit me that Klaus wasn't going to survive the series finale, the first thing I thought was how Elijah was going to survive without his brother. Then when I watched that final scene and I really thought about everything they went through together. it made perfect sense to me that Elijah chose to leave the world when Klaus did. :thud:
