Oh yes my heart is broken Well before the finale speculation was being had that Elijah was gonna die cause of Hayley being in the afterlife - than came 5x12 and it made sense for Klaus too even if now Hope is without both parents

It breaks my heart that Hope lost both of her parents in such a short span of time, especially her father. She hadn't seen him for so long, and just when he came back into her life, he was gone for good.

^ I would love to see that! I can't remember if they ever showed it on the show, but I can picture him showing her some of his art, and telling her the stories behind them. I think she will probably take one of his drawings or paintings that meant something to him.

^ The necklace that has the Mikaelson crest as a pendant is another option. I can just imagine her wearing it and periodically touching it to remember her father.

^ I don't remember where it was when the series wrapped. I'm going to have to remember to keep track of it when I do my re-watch.

In the promo, it looks like Hope will have the picture that Klaus took when Klaus finally got to see Hope and the whole family came to spend Christmas together. That's a good start, but I kind of want something that's just Klaus and Hope.
