^ When she confessed that she took Hayley, the first thought in my head was that she really was a chip off the old block. Then I remembered that scene in the season one finale where Klaus told Rebekah that Hope had a hint of the devil in her eyes. :evil_lol:

I know! The casting department did an amazing job of casting teen!Hope. She looks so much like both of them, but you can really see the resemblance with Phoebe. :eek: :thud:

^ It was an intense episode. :eek: :thud: I love that she trapped him at the compound until she said her peace. He needed to hear that he could have done a hundred different things to make her feel like she hadn't completely lost him. Klaus cutting off all contact with Hope after she saw what he had done when she was a little girl did more harm than good to both of them, especially Hope. :no: :thud:

Klaus thought he was protecting Hope by staying away from her, but his absence really hurt her. :no: :thud: He didn't want her to think of him as a monster, but she saw it anyway. And the second she got a glimpse of that side of him, he ran and hid. The least he could have done was to face her, either to explain or reassure her. He did neither. :surrender: :thud:

^ I think, in Klaus' mind, he is so desperate to get Hayley back because he knows that he can't stay with Hope without endangering his and her lives. :no: :thud: He just wants to make sure Hope has at least one of her parents with her, so he's going to extremes so that he can find Hayley and bring her back to Hope. :eek:
