^ Me too! There are so many goodies in the episodes, especially the big reveal about Klaus and Stefan's 1920s history and Rebekah's introduction.

I think that's what it was for sure the reveal about Klaus|Stefan that did it for me for sure

^ It's certainly a great reveal...but I kind of think we should have seen it coming. Of course Klaus knew of Stefan before they met in Mystic Falls. Knowing the kind of vampire that Stefan was, it's not too much of a stretch for us to assume that they crossed paths during Stefan's Ripper phase.

^ That is true. I can only speak for myself, but a lot of the time, I have to have things spelled out to me for me to make the connections. Re-watching the Klaus/Stefan scenes in season two, I can't believe that I didn't see those clues that they had history together.

Season three is my favorite Klaus season on The Vampire Diaries. TPTB did such a great job of exploring the character. There are so many great bits to him and his storyline throughout the season.

One of my favorite parts of the season is the battle between Klaus and Stefan. It's so entertaining! There is that one scene where Stefan calls Klaus and he tells him that he's going to drive Elena off Wickery Bridge, so he won't be able to make any more hybrids. And Klaus doesn't believe Stefan's going to do it, so he calls his bluff, and Stefan is thisclose to actually doing it. What a tense situation!

^ It really was. The season really was the season of Klaus and Stefan. It was mostly a battle of who could be the bigger villain, especially after Klaus took away Stefan's compulsion after Homecoming...and Stefan's first act was to steal Klaus' family from him.

Which is why its probably one of my favorite seasons just everything between Klaus|Stefan was perfect

^ I know! The season started with Klaus and Stefan on their little road trip where Klaus looked for possible hybrid recruits, and it pretty much ended with Klaus and Stefan when Stefan stopped Klaus' heart which caused Klaus' desiccation.

^ 'Intense' -- that's a good word for the season. It's my favorite season of The Vampire Diaries, simply because of how everything came together.
