Secrecy is nothing new for Marvel, they keep their cards very close to the chest and they always have actors sign secrecy into their contracts - as long as they are on their contract with Marvel, they can't confirm or say anything unless Marvel officially announces it. Marvel usually has reasons for why they do what they do.

Yeah, I know Marvel always keeps secrets, I just don't know why they keep Darcy's return as a secret. Probably something special for her

Maybe they are planning for a surprise cameo return of Darcy appearing at the end of the movie, having found her way to like wherever the big final battle might be, and just takes down the bad guy with her taser and be like "ha! That's why you don't mess with earthlings!"
I've always loved the fanfic idea that Darcy would be Coulson's successor as Avengers babysitter because she's just really chill and threatens people with tasers like Coulson does! Maybe she is secretly a SHIELD spy like Coulson's prodigy or something!  __________________
