The line "[Thor] has been busy sorting the kingdom out and ensuring his pesky bro gets punished for his crimes" makes me wonder if Thor will have a part in deciding Loki's punishment or if it's just a reference to his trip to Earth to haul his brother back home.

Oh, just thought of something I forgot to ask about the trailer before: who is Thor fighting against in front of the cells? I remember that the day the video came out someone speculated he was fighting Asgardian guards because his decision to ask Loki for help went against his father's wishes so he will have to break him out of jail, but it could be some of Malekith's people trying to free Loki and Thor trying to stop them. Or maybe something that has nothing to do with Loki.

I checked some caps and it looks like Thor might be fighting the marauders:







Perhaps they are trying to break Loki our of jail under Malekith's command. And the cell on the left does seem to be open/empty. Hmm.

A part of me imagined Loki being held in a special section to make sure he was even more guarded. The books and other items in his cell made me think of a unique location, as well. But I was wrong.

From the amount of people in the frame, and the fact that Thor himself is there to take care of the situation, I guess that scene is from the big attack that might lead to Frigga's death?

Isn't one of Thor's powers the possibility to slip into "berserker rage", which increases his strength/battle lust a considerable amount? Not that we're ever getting something like that in the movie-verse, but Frigga's death would definitely be an event that would push that button.

Eccleston described his character as 100% evil, so we're probably going to enjoy seeing Thor crush him and his minions.

I can't wait to see Thor kick some ass, but most of all I want this family to sit down and have a heart to heart.

But seriously, the family dynamics are what I'm most curious about, and Thor's new responsibilities.

Maybe Thor has some peacekeeping to do. I'm pretty sure Loki's actions did not go unnoticed by the other realms. They might be uneasy, especially if they have some kind of truce with Odin.
