Zachary Levi talks Thor: The Dark World

The Chuck star talks about taking over the role of Fandral the Dashing in Thor 2...

With the release of Thor: The Dark World less than a year away, it's looking as though the pieces are in place for this to be a worthy follow up to its impressive predecessor. Amongst the new additions to the cast this time around is Chuck star Zachary Levi, who is replacing Josh Dallas as Fandral. In a recent interview Levi has shared his thoughts on the role and going blonde for it.

“People always ask me know if blondes have more fun" he told E!. "No, it's really cool. Josh Dallas played the role I'm playing, Fandral the Dashing, in the first film. I was a little trepidatious about stepping into that because someone had already done it. But everyone's embraced me wholeheartedly and been very cool. We shoot in London. I've spent more time there in the last five months than anywhere else. It's been an incredible adventure".

He concluded by discussing his co-star Chris Hemsworth. “He's an awesome guy. Brand new baby. He's a new dad, has a lovely wife, the whole nine. He's a rock star.”

We'll get to see Levi's take on Fandral the Dashing next November...
