I think a lot of people did and it was mostly due to her lack of characterization. I kind of wonder how an Emily Blunt Black Widow would have been.

I love Natasha and esp Scarlett as Natasha

she was playing sort of the temptress for Tony so I'm not sure we were supposed to like her and when she wasn't doing that she was kicking ass soo I dug it

what has Joss said about them?

He didn't come out and say romantically, but he kept saying how "special" the relationship between the two of them was. I guess he could have just mean they were best friends.
