Yes.
 Curtis mentioned he was 17 when they were first on the train and it was about some months later when everyone was starving and the cannibalism in the tail end started, that he killed Edgar's mom so he could eat the baby. |

I should have known Gillam was a rat. Right after Curtis said his line about Edgar not looking up to him because he wasn't who he seemed, Gillam replied with something like "Few of us are." And look at what a traitor he turned out to be.
