If I had to guess, Part 1 will be about defending Earth from the attack. Then in Part 2 they take the fight to Thanos in space.

Technically no. At first it was IW pt. 1 and 2 then it was just Infinity War and the next Avengers still doesn't have an official title. It's still called Avengers 4, and they claim the title is a spoiler. Personally, I think it will be part 2 cause I don't think they will defeat Thanos by the end of IW.

Everybody knows Avengers 4 will still continue from Infinity War, so "Part 2" isn't a spoilery title. Just sounds like Infinity War will tell a complete story arc that leads into Avengers 4 instead of ending abruptly on a cliffhanger a la Matrix Reloaded, thank god.
Maybe Avengers 4 will be Secret Wars. __________________
