I love Wolverine, but I know what you mean. It will probably happen anyway, as he is the only character in both universes.

I just feel like they rely on him too much. I'm hoping they can reset the time line and bring back Cyclops. They really did a disservice to his character.

They did, and I think it's mostly fault of the stupid love triangle

Stupid love triangle ruining everything. Scott is the leader of The X-Men and yet they made it seem like Wolverine was. I know he's a popular character but damn.

The love triangle is done well in the comics and cartoon though and Scott had much stronger connection with Jean.

I wish it had been stronger in the movie.

So they cut off the whole rescue sequence Rogue was supposed to appear in from the new X-Men movie, so she won't appear in it at all. Sigh.
Well, if she only had that little to do not much harm done.

It seems so. I don't know how long this "sequence" was supposed to be, though.

I didn't like how where they left off Rogue in the movie-verse and was hoping she would get a few more good moments, but it looks like it's not in the cards.

Was she excited about being in the movie? I didn't really keep up with the news for the movie.

I can't remember reading quotes from her about Rogue's return, only from Singer, but I haven't been attentive in keeping up with film info, either.
The director said the rescue scenes she was in will probably end up in the DVD, and Anna perfectly understood the reasons for the cut.

I've been thinking. Since they cut MJ out of TASM2, there's no reason for them to actually bring her in right? I mean, there's nothing that says they actually have to kill off Gwen Stacy. And I'm sure Andrew and Emma would prefer that. Seems like neither of them like MJ as a character. Andrew kind of jokingly said that he would prefer MJ to be male.

I'm not familiar with the SM universe, but isn't MJ supposed to be a much bigger character than Gwen?

Yep. I'd actually classify MJ as The One over Gwen.

One thing is for sure - I read around about the way Gwen
Spoiler:
in the comics, and on paper it sounds lame as hell.
