Fake snow dusted the interior courtyard of the Union Theological Seminary. A scene for the movie “The Normal Heart” is being filmed in the peaceful courtyard today. Slated to release in 2014, “The Normal Heart” is about a gay activist seeking to raise awareness of HIV/AIDS in the early 1980s.

The movie is being directed by Ryan Murphy, the writer/producer of “Glee” and “American Horror Story.” The movie also has a star-studded cast that includes Matt Bomer, Jim Parsons, Mark Ruffalo, and Julia Roberts. Matt Ruffalo and Ryan Murphy were present at Union, but Spectator was not able to capture a picture because we technically weren’t even supposed to be on the premises in the first place. We did, however, sneak a few pictures of the scene

I like how passionate Mark is - one thing that keeps pissing me off are people denying that pollution and global warming have any big impact in influencing many disasters we have had to face.
