No problem.

Walt Disney said on Thursday it was willing to divest Twenty-First Century Fox assets that generated up to $1 billion in earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) to get a regulatory nod for the deal.

Disney in a regulatory filing said it was willing to divest the assets, potentially including regional sports networks. The media conglomerate had previously planned to divest Fox assets that generated $500 million in EBITDA.

Disney/Marvel just want their comic book character movie rights back, nothing more nothing less. comcast needs to stop standing in the way of that, like a pack of rabid hyenas. comcast is just in this mess for the money, whereas Disney/Marvel is trying to bring back some long lost properties to where they need to be...the MCU! geez i hope this gets resolved to the benefit of Marvel and it's fans.

Comcast’s 50-person deal team began working full-throttle on a possible larger move for the Fox assets Disney was buying. At one point, Comcast signaled to Disney it would be willing to split the spoils, where Comcast would take international assets including Star India and Sky, and Disney would take domestic assets, people familiar with the matter said. Disney didn’t engage and has since ruled out that possibility.
Comcast also entertained discussions with Amazon.com Inc. to see whether carving up the Fox assets could offer a smoother regulatory path, these people said.

US gives Disney-Fox deal antitrust approval
Walt Disney has won U.S. antitrust approval to buy most of Twenty-First Century Fox assets for $71.3 billion on condition it sell 22 regional sports networks, the Justice Department said on Wednesday.
Fox and Disney are preparing to go ahead with their deal, which Fox chose over a competing $65 billion bid from cable operator Comcast earlier this month.

that is great news! i am so looking forward to seeing the X-Men, Fantastic 4, Doc Doom, Silver Surfer, Galactus the World Destroyer, SuperSkrulls, all members of the Eternals, Celestials, Kronos, Watchers, and much more of the cosmic realm that was partly owned by Fox. they're coming home to the MCU!

comcast is a much reviled cable/internet provider here in the States, shoddy service and high rates. grrrrr.

Glad to hear it (but not surprised) The main reason I wanted this deal to go through was to see them finally do justice to the Fantastic 4. A property Fox just didn't seem to care about outside of keeping the rights. I don't know how they could fit the X Men in the MCU but I'm intrigued to see how they do it though lol.

It seems Disney&Fox stills needs the Fox shareholders approval and approval from other regulatory bodies in other countries.
