Well technically it wasn't Joss's fault either as Kevin Feige (the marvel studio president/producer) said it was his idea because they needed the movie to carry a weight and consequence and not just be flimsy good guy vs. bad guy thing.

Henry will air in the US. Tom said on twitter it will be on pbs late this year or early next year I can't wait that long, so I'll be on the look out for downloads.

Ah, thanks for clearing that up! I understand the decision to up the stakes, but the whole sacrifice of a single to bring together the team is somehow of a cliché itself, too, as much as Coulson's death resonated on an emotional level.
At first I was in denial - I thought Fury was just lying to motivate the Avengers.

Right now Tom is in Detroit to film 'Only Lovers Left Alive" with Tilda Swinton.
I keep seeing photos taken by fans who met him around the city - lucky people!
