Man, that conversation between Sam and Isaiah was so good. Isaiah was created to be like Steve, but he wasn't allowed to be a hero like Steve. All he got was more experiments and jail while Steve got put on a pedestal. It really highlights just how racist the US was and still is. While the show keeps touching on Bucky's trauma, I wish they spent as much time on Sam's trauma too. Riley is Sam's trauma and we really needed a flashback on that. People keep saying if Sam could use a stone, he'd bring back Steve, but nope, HE'S GONNA BRING BACK RILEY.

I'm kind of tired of seeing people call Sam selfish (in his damn tags too) for giving up the shield. Sam wasn't selfish, he knew the shield could never truly belong to a black man in the United States. It was only ever on borrowed time with him and Isaiah confirmed that. That being said, I'm glad they had Bucky actually apologize to Sam for not understanding the racism Sam is facing. Sam's allowed to grieve Steve, but he should be allowed to be angry at Steve too for putting him in this position.

I think I might of overlooked it somehow but now I see it cause they say it in the show but I dont think it clicked in my mind while watching the movies .

Mee I agree this show hits a lot if good points with US and being racist, but it makes sense to why Sam wouldn't want to be Captain America in this day and age ( not a lot has changed)
