I was so surprised to hear this will be set in the 90's. I wonder where Mrs. Marvel has been all this time, and it will be interesting to see Fury with two eyes.

It'll be a bit of a challenge to see how they will bring a 90s Carol into the modern world since her powers don't include anti-aging and Carol can't be a kid since this is supposed to be her origin movie. And no matter what they do (unless it's CGI), Brie Larson can't pass off as a teenage Carol, so it's gonna have to be a Carol already in her 20s.

Danvers is more a '70s character than a '90s character.

Sam talks a bit about his return in Captain Marvel.

I'm super curious about how this will turn out...

miranstarr 09-10-2017 06:57 AM

Me too, especially since she's supposed to start showing up in the Avengers movies after Infinity War.

Weird...so I guess we'll get a time jump like The First Avenger...

Thanks for that :)

God, Brie Larson is so inappropriate for the role. They should have cast Katee Sackhoff.

^that would've been amazing!
