Especially in The Avengers. He's still figuring and adjusting to the world yet his first instinct during the finale battle was to people the leader of this band of ~soldiers and help save the people of NYC, and the world, from otherworldly creatures(!). He will always go and fight for what he believes in, now matter the odds.

I thought that was a bit confusing as well... should we use Chris Evans instead

I just really love what he said in CA:FA when he was asked whether to kill the Nazis or not, then he said "I don't want to kill anybody. I don't like bullies; I don't care where they're from."
