They have been saying for years she is getting her own movie but I've always heard she's not. From their future line up there isn't a BW movie coming up. I feel she works best showing up in other movies. I like her hair the best in TWS too.

If she gets a solo movie it won't be until 2020 at the earliest, after Avengers 4. I'd like to see a Bourne/Dark Knight-style espionage/crime thriller. Also, Jennifer Lawrence's upcoming movie Red Sparrow looks basically like a Black Widow movie.

Nothing has been confirmed on a solo movie .It seems after this phase of Marvel , Black Widow looks to be 2020 or late 2019. See how Avengers Part 2 2019 will lead into next group . Frankly i would have had captain marvel show up in a Black Widow movie ,before the solo

From what I gather, they're probably killing off all the main Avengers in the next two Avengers movies, or retiring them, and that doesn't bode well for keeping Black Widow around.

^What makes you say that? That they'll retire the current ones? Unless they introduce new Avengers really quick (that are popular like the Chrises and Robert) I don't see them changing anything...unless I missed a big piece of news

Thanks for the info. I guess I can see Vision dying (not just literally on the trailer cause that could always be misleading) and maybe Wanda, too? But not the mains at this point...I'm assuming the Chrises, Robert, Seb (who at some point had the longest contract out of them all, I wonder if that still stands?), Tom, and Scarlett are the safest.

Natasha needed her own movie to happen right after Age of Ultron I think, to dwell into the backstory from the comics that they hinted at in that movie |
