It's sexist and stupid. And Scarlett is a way better actress than Brie Larson and thus much more deserving of being the one to bring the franchise into the area of female-led films.

Yeah they sorta hinted at her backstory in Avengers 2 but that movie was a mess when it comes to her character.

Marvel, I'm more for the Russo brothers creativity, because they can do it right. They give depth into the characters insight and balance with action scenes and dialogue.

I know before Whedon left Marvel, he had said he wanted to do a Black Widow movie, but i hope he stays far far away. I wonder how long it'll take before the DCEU fans turn on him.

Joss Whedon. He pisses off everybody eventually. As a Buffy fan I suffered him screwing up something I loved. He lost a lot of fans with his horrible "Buffy Season 8" comics. When he got acclaim for Avengers I knew it wouldn't last. Now I'm worried what he'll do to the DCEU. Unlike most people, I liked Snyder's style. Batman Vs Superman is one of my favorite superhero movies, even though I'm not a DC fan in general.
