Considering how well they wrote the women in the first movie, equal warriors with agency, and T'Challa not feeling superior, quite the contrary, I don't think they would write Storm differently. Plenty of comic material doesn't make it into the movies.

They did write the women well. They were the best thing about the film. That and Winston Duke's performance for some reason. He had the difficult task of taking a character who in the comics is a black man calld "Man-Ape" and turning him into something cool and stereotype-defying. The scenes in M'Baku's fortress were excellent. Duke isn't from Africa, but he did everythng else right.

That also means the writing was good.

In the case of M'Baku, yes.

You'll love it, and it has one of the best MCU villains.

Movie Killmonger is an overrated villain, as portrayed by Michael B Jordan, whose performance is lacking. Killmonger in the comics is a menacing villain. Killmonger in the movie comes off like an overgrown kid. It's hard to respect him or take him seriously. Contrast him with some of Luke Cage's villains, like Diamondback, Cottonmouth and Mariah Stokes and you can see the difference between a good villain and a bad one. Luke Cage's villains you respect, you take seriously, and they're plenty as complex as Killmonger, just better acted.

No, I never had the time to see it in the cinema. And then when I bought it I chose to wait until I had rewatch all of the other ones.

___

I did like it. The scenery was really beautiful and I liked most of the characters but I felt something was lacking in it.

I think Shuri.

And I did like the car chase scene in South Korea. It was really well made!

Shuri is my favourite too, quite obvious given my current combo.

I liked the car chase too, it was really cool, not usually a fan of slo-mo but it was well done and I also loved the humoristic elements, esp. Nakia appearing on the seat and Shuri falling down in her lab.
