I didn't even think about him, but considering all the mess going on in his life I think it's for the best. I kind of liked his character in the Ant Man films, but looking at TI makes me want to puke now.

yeah I can understand why they aren't bringing him back. but I did like him in the movies

Before that he was under fire for always getting his daughter checked to see if she is still a virgin too. TI has disgusted me since then, so the stuff with his wife is just even more damage towards his reputation.
