It has to happen at some point. You can't keep Hank and Janet old people in the MCU forever when they're both young in the comics, and it makes no sense to have Hope be the main Wasp in the MCU when she doesn't exist in the comics. To allow this to remain the norm just for Edgar Wright, who didn't even make an MCU movie? It defies logic.

they will definitely make a third Antman/Wasp film in the MCU, all the particular solo titles complete their arc as trilogies, IR, Thor, Cap, Antman, Hulk in Thor3/IW/EG, Guardians Vol 3 at some point, the only exception being Black Widow which i believe will be a solo origin film which will also be a chapter in the i like Hope and Scott, and hopefully they will have a nice conclusion to their trilogy. In Feige We Trust!

You can like Hope and Scott all you want, it doesn't change the fact that they don't belong there. Hank and Janet are the founding members of the Avengers in the comics and deserve to be in the MCU more, and Hope doesn't even exist in the comics and has no right stealing Janet's legacy.

Also, let's not trust Feige too much. He's the guy who chose to sacrifice Hank and Janet in order to accommodate Edgar Wright out of obligation, and then later admitted that it was a mistake after Wright quit the production and Feige said that his script didn't work in the MCU. So forgive me if I do not trust Feige's judgement given how many mistakes he's made.

And if they do make one last Ant-Man film with Scott and Hope, God let it be the last and final one with them... in life... ever. Let young Hank and Janet continue the franchise from here on so that future generations remember who the real Ant-Man and Wasp are. Hollywood screws up comics way too much as it is.

Finally watching this. I think it's one of the worst films I've ever seen. And Luis is such a racist stereotype. Waste of a good actor. Sickmaking film. (Despite an excellent cast.) If MCU films are going to be like this I'll be seeing a lot less of them in the future. Captain Marvel looks like it could be good and I expect something tolerable in Avengers Endgame, and also I'm looking forward to the Black Widow movie. But I don't see myself watching any more Ant Man, Black Panther or Spider Toddler films. I'll decide Doctor Strange 2 and Guardians 3 when the time comes. And I guess I'll be seeing any MCU X-Men and Fantastic Four films they make. But to say I'm apprehensive about the direction of the MCU is to put it mildly. I'm sick of MCU films treating everything as a joke. There was always humour, but originally the films took the stories seriously overall. If Disney can't respect the material anymore then maybe they should turn the job of making Marvel movies over to somebody else.
