I didn't see AoU and Antman in the cinema because I was having exams and busy with my dissertation when AoU came out and I was travelling when Antman came out

I only want to see one thing from Ant-Man & The Wasp... for young Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne to emerge from the quantum realm and take their rightful place as part of the Avengers, and for "old" Hank Pym and Hope Van Dyne to be revealed to have been Skrull imposters all along. That's the only thing that could make up for the travesty of Marvel excluding Hank and Janet from their own signature story as founding members of the Avengers and central characters in nearly every single Avengers storyline just to shoehorn Edgar Wright's irrelevant and incompatible Scott Lang script into the MCU.

And the fact that Joss Whedon originally had Hank and Janet as Ant-Man and The Wasp in his initial screenplay for The Avengers and was ordered by Marvel to omit them and replace them with Hawkeye and Black Widow just to accommodate Edgar Wright is infuriating. Especially since Edgar's Ant-Man ended up not working at all in the MCU, and Edgar only ended up quitting the movie after it had already been cast and had gone into production, making it impossible for Marvel to course-correct. Such a stupid mistake that prevented the Marvel Cinematic Universe from being as good as it could've been. You cannot have the Avengers without Hank Pym as Ant-Man/Giant-Man and Janet Van Dyne as The Wasp. They are as essential to the Avengers as Cyclops and Jean Grey are to the X-Men and Reed Richards and Susan Storm are to the Fantastic Four, and eliminating them just for one overrated British filmmaker who did a halfway-decent zombie comedy a decade ago was just idiotic.

Peyton Reed did a Q&A session back in December about Ant-Man if anyone wants to have a look at it. Session with Peyton Reed

I heard Peyton Reed's Q&A. He expressed interest in doing a prequel featuring Hank and Janet. A prequel? How do you do a prequel when you've killed 99% of Hank and Janet's story by taking them out of the Avengers? Putting them forty years in the past before the Avengers exist makes them redundant. They have to be in the Avengers in the present day because that's where their entire story is told. If they're not in the Avengers there's no point in even using them. Seriously, Marvel should have their heads examined for using Edgar Wright's Ant-Man script. Hank and Janet deserved better.

Since they always get upgrades on their uniforms for subsequent sequels and whatnot, I'm wondering how Ant-Man's suit will look. I think the new Civil War Lego sets has a Giant Man version too.

I got this for christmas, so finally got to watch! I absolutely loved it. Mainly the falcon-antman fight was hilarious, I loved the quips and little nods to Spidey and Avengers.
