hmm .. it starts out with an elderly couple who had been in love as teenagers, then re-discovering each other after 50 years. That part is largely, though not always, comedic.
More of the series really concerns their separate - very dysfunctional - families.  The acting is fabulous and the writing is as good as it gets (imo). It's the kind of show where you feel like you really get to know the characters, you're interested in them and take them to heart. Mainly, I think you might like it because it's a top-quality series.  __________________

^ That series seems interesting, Sherry. For the most part, the BBC has quality programming.
 I was stuck watching sports all weekend  So I am excited to watch anything else or maybe I'll take a brake from the tv for a while   __________________

Series 2 of Broadchurch hit Netflix this morning. I had already seen the first 3 episodes on YouTube, so I sat me down with a pot of coffee and watched the rest by Noon.
