Do you own one of the soundtracks? Which score is your fave?

Great title, very true.

I got the second series soundtrack and a couple of tracks from the first one.

Sherlocked and Irene's Theme rank very high for me. But I also like One More Miracle, Prepared to do Anything and Pursuit.

Is that what it is called? Sherlock & Irene's theme? I've been trying to find out the title since I saw the episode.

Yes, Irene's Theme is the sad piece Sherlock composed and played on the violin. And Sherlocked was used throughout the whole episode, but most notably during the scene, when he figured out her phone code.

Again, I have to mentiion the DVD commentary. They are all gushing about the music on it, saying you don't have that kind of music in TV shows nowadays and I absolutely agree.

I actually hum along to the music whenever I rewatch an episode

You do? I haven't heard that before, but I have some tracks on my mp3 player and listen to it, when I'm out and about.

Yeah I finish the characters lines before they do and hum along to the music and why are you looking at me like this that's perfectly normal.

Sherlock does have a wonderful original soundtrack and the pieces they picked to fit some moments are just perfect, but I get a bit irritated when I go to listen to La gazza ladra on youtube and find people ranting about Moriarty and Sherlock it's Rossini we're talking about

Ross, I have to admit that I can't listen to La gazza ladra without thinking of Moriarty. But I also appreciate classical music in general, so I think it's a great piece.
