I watched TIG today... To be honest I didn't get impressed by the movie but I have to say that Ben's performance is exceptional... Every single minute you think that HE IS Alan Turing not that he pretends to be. He is a phenomenal actor!

I guess all the hype and commentary about the movie led to too high expectations. That's too bad.
But, it was indeed Benedict's performance that made the whole so exceptional.

It isn't smt new, Sherry. There are a lot of films that are based mainly on leading actor/actress performance. Ben has all this dynamic. I don't say that the movie is bad, on the contrary is very good but not a masterpiece.

Ah, #21 is thought-provoking.


I did! His time was too short. It was mostly the usual 'what are your fans called' and 'do some imitations' stuff - really unworthy of Ellen, imo.
He did get an impressive reception from the audience, though.
